What is complimentary access for newspaper subscribers?

As a print newspaper subscriber to The Globe and Mail, you now get complimentary access to Globe2Go, a digital replica of The Globe and Mail printed newspaper that you can access on your laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet device to ensure that you never miss a moment while you are on the go or on vacation. Access is based on the days you get the newspaper with an archive of 7 days. For example, if you are a Monday-Saturday subscriber, you get Monday-Saturday access. If you are a Saturday only subscriber, you get Saturday only access. In addition, you get a 7 day archive, Report on Business magazine and Globe Style Advisor.

We have created a complimentary account for you and sent your login username & password to you by email (if you are a new subscriber) or by letter (if you were a subscriber as of June 2015). You can change the username (to your email address) and password (to whatever you want). See the other questions for details on how to do that.

To access your full complimentary subscription to Globe2Go, please visit http://globe2go.newspaperdirect.com and login. On a desktop or laptop, look for the Sign In button on the top right of the page. On a smartphone or tablet, look for the Menu button on the top right of the page and then select Sign In. You can select any regional edition you want, just look for the Select Title button.

Note: You can disregard the "Expiry/Renewal date:" (on the Web site) and "Expiration Date" (on the iPad app). Your access auto renews as long as you have a newspaper subscription.

We do provide access on mobile apps. See the other questions for details on how to do that.
